We describe the account, learning, device and service data needed to operate Clarvo.
Your information should be understandable and controllable.
This policy explains what Clarvo uses, why it is needed, how it is protected, and the controls you have over your account and data.
Communication choices are separate. Account deletion is available from your account controls.
Public learner profiles expose selected learning stats, not private account credentials or payment information.
Information we use
Clarvo processes the account information, phone number, study progress, preferences, device notification token and user-submitted content needed to provide the features you choose. Marketing and WhatsApp communication choices are separate, optional opt-ins and are not implied by creating an account or accepting the Terms.
Learning analytics
Clarvo may keep compact aggregate activity counters such as signups, study starts, quiz completions, paper opens and notification opens to improve the product. Analytics events are designed not to contain a learner name, email address, phone number, authentication token, payment credential or raw search text. Staff dashboards use aggregate metrics; personally identifiable account details remain in authorised learner-management views.
Crash and reliability reporting
Production Android builds may use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to report application crashes, affected app versions, device or operating-system characteristics and privacy-limited technical diagnostics. Clarvo's Crashlytics bridge is designed not to attach learner email addresses, raw AI prompts, search text, payment credentials or document contents. A pseudonymous Clarvo user identifier may be used when needed to diagnose an account-specific reliability problem.
Notifications, alarms and microphone
Clarvo requests notification permission to deliver study reminders and private exam results. Exact Study Planner reminders may require Android Alarms and reminders access. Microphone access is requested only when you start voice input or speech-recognition features. Clarvo does not request broad Android photo or video-library access.
Services that process data
Clarvo uses Firebase Authentication for sign-in, Turso-backed services for Clarvo account and learning data, Cloudinary for approved media, Firebase Crashlytics for production reliability, and Google AdMob for advertising in supported Android builds. Optional search or AI features may send the minimum query needed to configured server-side providers. Those providers process information under their own applicable privacy terms.
Advertising and payments
Supported Android builds may request non-personalised advertising and use Google consent tools where applicable. Premium or ad-free benefits suppress Clarvo advertising. Where a payment option is enabled, payment details are handled by the supported provider; Clarvo does not store bank-card credentials inside the Android app.
Security and retention
Clarvo limits stored information to what is needed to provide, secure and maintain the service. Authentication tokens and protected provider configuration are separated from public application source. Operational records may be retained for a limited period for security, synchronization, fraud prevention, crash diagnosis and service reliability.
Your choices and deletion
You can sign out, manage communication choices and permanently delete your Clarvo account. The deletion flow removes Clarvo cloud learning data and the associated Firebase Authentication identity, subject to short-lived operational records that expire according to configured retention periods.
Children and educational use
Clarvo is an educational study product. Users and guardians should use the service consistently with the age, target-audience and consent requirements that apply in their country and the destination app store.
